The #RenEUable initiative shines a light on one of the EU’s greatest achievements – Europe’s renewable energy industries – by promoting its successes via success stories. Different renewable organisations are supporting this initiative and among them Solar Heat Europe. Read More...
The European Solar Thermal Energy Standardisation & Certification (ESTESC) working group is an initiative of Solar Heat Europe and the European Heating Industry (EHI) association ,in cooperation with the German associations BSW Solar and BDH. It has around 50 members who contribute to the work of its 3 subgroups: (1) Energy labelling; (2) Standardisation; (3) Certification. Do not hesitate to contact Solar Heat Europe if you would like to become a member of ESTESC. Read More...
The Solar Certification Fund (SCF) was set up in 2009, when the Solar Keymark Network (SKN) decided to support activities concerning the development and promotion of the Solar Keymark certification scheme and related standards. Read More...
The Solar Keymark was developed by ESTIF, now Solar Heat Europe, and European Committee for Standardisation (CEN) in close co-operation with leading European test labs and with the support of the European Commission. It is a voluntary third-party certification mark for solar thermal products, demonstrating to end-users that a product conforms to the relevant European standards and full fills additional requirements. The European Solar Thermal Technology Platform (ESTTP) was launched by ESTIF, now Solar Heat Europe, in 2005, at the 2nd European Solar Thermal Energy Conference (estec2005) and became part of the RHC-ETIP, after its establishment. The ESTTP consists of 19 elected Steering Committee members and over 500 individual Panel members and has 3 focus groups: (1) Solar thermal systems for buildings (2) Solar heat for industrial applications (3) Market deployment, strategy and scenario development.
