Solar Heat Europe’s mission is to achieve high priority and acceptance for solar heat as a key element for sustainable heating and cooling in Europe and, with immediate effect, to work for the implementation of all necessary steps to realise the high potential of solar heat.
The basic principle common to all solar heat systems is simple: solar radiation is collected and the resulting heat conveyed to a heat transfer medium – usually a fluid but also air in the case of air collectors.
Services to its members are the key work of Solar Heat Europe.
Solar Heat Europe is recognised in the Solar Heat sector for publishing a wide range of documents supporting a better understanding of the sector, among them, its Annual Market Statistic is the most well-known.
