One of the big challenges that energy transition efforts face is the financing of new investments. The required investment is considerable and required the engagement of the public sector and the private sector, be it industries, investors or private citizens. As such, new instruments facilitate the channelling of investment into energy efficiency and renewable heating and cooling. Such investments share a similar context and barriers.

In this workshop it is proposed to address the issue of financing energy renovation projects combining solar thermal with energy efficiency, as well as to discuss existing and innovative sources of financing.
