The energy system is facing fast and fundamental changes. New technologies and solutions make their way into the market and incumbent technologies face new challenges, mainly related to the need for decarbonisation.
Many analyses are done on the future of the energy system. The main focus is on the power sector but an increasing attention is placed on the heating and cooling sector. What role will solar heating and cooling and other renewable heating technologies play in the future? What will be their place in the future? And how will developments in technologies and solutions centred on thermal storage will play as an enabler?
This and other questions will be addressed in this workshop, covering an interesting arrange of topics for all those that would like to understand and debate the way forward for solar heating and cooling.
