Together for a more sustainable future at ISEC 2022

Solar Heat Europe joined the 2022 International Sustainable Energy Conference with the main objective of addressing the key role of planned replacement in the decarbonisation of the energy sector, representing the European project – HARP. The conference took place from April 5th to April 7th in Graz, Austria and it was organised by AEE Intec in cooperation with UNIDO.

The objective of the conference was to connect academia, industry, and the key stakeholders of the heating sector to learn from each other and solve the challenges we are facing to decarbonise Europe.

Our Operations Manager, Leopoldo, attended the conference as a representative of the HARP project, but he also chaired one of the main policy sessions of ISEC 2022, addressing “Policies for Renewable Heating & Cooling”. The session highlighted the main energy solutions for a more sustainable future, stressing the need for a faster deployment to cut the dependency on imported gas in this period of turmoil.
