The RHC-ETIP launched a survey on Research, Development & Innovation trends and priorities

The European Technology & Innovation Platform for Renewable Heating and Cooling (RHC-ETIP) has recently launched a survey to investigate the status of research & innovation trends and priorities of the renewable heating and cooling sector.

Context

The survey will complement the work done for the Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA) for Climate Neutral Heating and Cooling in Europe that was launched by the platform at the end of last year. The SRIA identified a list of R&I priorities needed to achieve a 100% renewable future and the decarbonisation of the heating and cooling sector. Now the survey will assess if these priorities are implemented by relevant stakeholders or are in their plans for the near future. Based on this survey, the RHC-ETIP will prepare a report for the European Commission on the status of RHC RD&I, offering a complete picture of all the renewable heating and cooling sectors in the EU. This will bring to the creation of a road map to implement SRIA in the upcoming years.

Why should you take the survey?

By giving their answers, companies will be able to influence the content of the report being prepared for the Commission. The results of the survey will be used to better define policy recommendations for R&I in renewable heating and cooling. Therefore, we strongly encourage you to share the voice of the solar thermal sector and help us in disseminating the survey to other relevant stakeholders.

By completing this survey, you will receive a digital copy of the final report with insights into RHC-related RD&I priorities and RD&I trends among the stakeholders active in the Renewable Heating and Cooling sectors.

Your information will be handled in strict confidence and used only for the purposes of the RHC-ETIP´s Deployment and Implementation Report. The collected data will only be displayed aggregated, in summary statistics, and/or used for the compilation of indicators.
