Two years after the entry into force of the European Regulation on Energy Efficiency Labeling of Heating Systems, LabelPack A + Project partners celebrate manufacturers’ efforts to introduce more efficient equipment into the market. On the contrary, they consider that the lack of commitment of the public authorities and the lack of interest on the part of the installers are leading to a situation of disinformation among consumers.
The European Union Regulation and its guidelines for mandatory labeling of heating systems came into force on 26 September 2015. Since then, all new equipment with a capacity of up to 70 kW should have an energy efficiency label. Two years later, LabelPack A + partners, a European project that has supported the introduction of energy labeling in the market, has reviewed the application of this measure and has met with a double vision.
