Policy & Advocacy

Home / Services / Policy & Advocacy

Solar Heat Europe participates actively to identify, at the European level, the diverse legal challenges your business will face in the upcoming years. As such, broaching the common interest of the Solar Heat industry to policy makers has become tremendous.

With the aim at increasing the share of Renewable Heating & Cooling in the European economy, and more specifically of Solar Heat technology, our organisation is daily working with EU policy-makers.

Furthermore, Solar Heat Europe is dedicated to advocate for the common interest of its members by having a direct access to the institutions that design the European Union regulatory framework of tomorrow.

Creating Stable Frameworks for Solar Heat Technology

Solar Heat Europe daily works on EU Building, Energy Efficiency and Energy policies and promotes stable market and legislative frameworks for Solar Heat Technology.

Policy Intelligence & Sharing

As the European framework can evolve in a swift manner in the Energy sector, Solar Heat Europe is dedicated to update its members upon requests or through regular updates

Research & Innovation

Solar Heat Europe advocates towards a reduction of the initial costs of Solar Heat technology as well as guaranteeing the continuity of the technical leadership in the Solar Heat sector by advocating towards a fair representation of the Heating & Cooling technology in the European research funds.

Promoting the Solar Heat Industrial Leadership

As Europe is slowly losing its industrial leadership in a lot of sectors, the Solar Heat industry has still an untapped potential, which Solar Heat Europe is eager to promote and to advocate to when meeting with policy-makers.

Solar Heat Policy Events

Advocacy work has a necessary focus on offering visibility to the interest represented. Solar Heat Europe aims at organising policy events providing European policy-makers with additional knowledge on Solar Heat Technology.

Furthermore, it means that Solar Heat Europe involves its team to represent the Solar Heat Industry at all the adequate European policy events to the best of its ability.

Bridging the Knowledge Gap on Solar Heat technology

As the European Energy sector is vast, it happens that experts who work on such legislation do not fully seize the Solar Heat technology’s specificity. Solar Heat Europe is dedicated to answers all the potential questions of policy makers on such technological aspects. Our role is to support policy-makers in shaping the best policies in the best conditions.

A Common Voice on Solar Heat Industry in Europe

Solar Heat Europe aims at coordinating a common Solar Heat Industry message. Considering national specificity, the organisation is strategically coordinating political and communication messages with national associations to create a political momentum for Solar Heat Industry in Europe.
