Edwige Porcheyre

Director

Project Coordinator, Enerplan

Originally trained in international business management (French post-graduate degree in business administration), Edwige Porcheyre has a professional background in export and marketing, working for British and American companies in the United Kingdom for ten years. In 2009, after returning to France, she re-trained in the solar sector, working for a French manufacturer of solar thermal systems as a sales manager. In 2014, she joined Enerplan, the French national federation of solar professionals.

For 14 years, she has been passionate about solar heat, and since 2014 she has been working together with Enerplan’s members and stakeholders of the solar thermal industry to promote the sector and create a large number of tools aiming at improving the reliability and durability of solar installations, thanks to the SOCOL platform. SO (SOlar) + COL (COLlective) was initiated by Enerplan in 2009, and the resources now available online and free of charge are valued by professionals and project owners alike; they are also used as a reference by ADEME (the French Agency for Energy Transition) for all grant applications.

Edwige has been on the Solar Heat Europe Board for the past two and a half years, working with the other board members and the SHE team on the recent challenges the industry was facing; she is now looking forward to carrying on this collaboration to help give solar heat the attention and value it deserves.
