Guglielmo Cioni, the Chief of Business Development at TVP Solar, brings his extensive experience and expertise to his new role as the President of Solar Heat Europe. Having served as the Vice President of Solar Heat Europe for over two years, Guglielmo has demonstrated his commitment and dedication to advancing the solar heating and cooling sector. With his leadership, Solar Heat Europe will continue to drive the growth of solar thermal solutions in Europe, advocate for renewable heat solutions, and contribute to the decarbonisation of the heating and cooling sector.

Guglielmo has 30 years of experience in international biz dev with a focus on energy and renewables. He was also the Vice Chair of the Steering Committee of ESTTP (European Solar Thermal Technology Platform) and Member of the Board of RHC-ETIP (Renewable Heating and Cooling European Technology and Innovation Platform). Previously, he was General Manager at GICA SA, the first-ever EU fully private carbon fund (€60 million AUM). Before that, he was in Trade Diplomacy for 15 years as a Director at the Italian government agency ICE (Institute for Foreign Trade).

Guglielmo holds a master’s degree in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Pisa and a Master’s Degree in finance from Solvay Business School in Brussels.
