As a partner of the ‘Label Pack A +’ project, the ADENE-Agency for Energy announces that on 26 September the label for water heaters is updated to a new scale of the energy class, which passes between A + and F, replacing the previous one between A and G.

This is also the case under the Energy Labeling Directive recently repealed with the publication in July of this year of the new energy labeling regulation covering all labeled products.

This new regulation will only apply to heating products and systems after 2020, ADENE reports.

This entry into force after 2020 ‘is justified because the regulation of energy labeling of heating products and systems is a recent (2015) legislation and, as such, for such equipment to continue to operate at a scale up to A +++, in particular in the case of more efficient heating systems using solar thermal systems’.
