Group Product Manager-Solar at BDR Thermea Group

Oleguer Fuertes is a senior professional in the HVAC industry with more than 22 years of experience leading complex projects in the energy transition.

Since 2021, he was appointed Group Product Manager-Solar at BDR Thermea Group, one of the major’s European manufacturers of domestic and commercial water and space heating systems. In his role, he is responsible to define the solar strategy of the group, manage the solar portfolio and lead the business development in the different markets where the company operates.

Oleguer is also president of ASIT, the Spanish Solar Association of the Solar Thermal Industry where he is working to bring the Solar Thermal develops its maximum potential at a time when the energy transition is one of the biggest challenges that is facing our society.

Oleguer has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from The Polytechnic University of Barcelona and a master’s in business administration from ESADE.

He was appointed Solar Heat Europe Director in June 2023, representing the category of Industry.
