A safe and comfortable home starts with clean heating and cooling, the same goes for a secure, competitive and sustainable Europe.
Solar Heat Europe is a member of the Bring Heat Home campaign. Bring Heat Home responds to a stark reality: heating and cooling account for over half of the EU’s energy demand, around 27% of total CO₂ emissions, and a significant share of costly fossil fuel imports. It calls for an accelerated deployment of sustainable district energy systems, heat pumps, renewable heat sources and energy efficiency solutions across Europe, highlighting their critical role in delivering affordable energy, climate action, energy security, and economic competitiveness. .
