Brief
The calves are fed with a mixture of hot water and powdered milk.
The water is heated to 80 °C. The volume of feed increases with the age of the calves; we have considered an average of 5 L per calf per day over the year.
Technology
It is an Opticaballon system :2500 litres storage tank integrated into a technical room, wood clad, with a surface area of 63,26 m² (20 collectors).
Financial structure
With an initial investment of 67 183 € and a subsidy of 34 650 €, the owner will benefit from fixed-price energy for at least 20 years.
