HABAU GROUP is numbered among the top 4 in Austria’s construction industry. With 13 Group companies, approx. 7,000 employees and an annual construction volume of 2.02 billion euros.

In 2014 they decided to implement the solar thermal heat technology in their industrial process.

Technology

The company benefits form 1.410 m² of solar collectors in a rooftop surface, in specific from the type GASOKOL gigaSol OR. The storage capacity of the tanks is of 90.000 m³.

Due to their use, 190 tonnes of CO2 emissions per year are being avoided. The most impressive result, is the anual delivery of 540 MWh that this technology brings.
