PV CYCLE is a non-profit organisation based in Belgium and serves as the management body for the take-back and recycling of used photovoltaic (PV) and solar thermal panels in Belgium.
The organisation provides Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) compliance services related to the WEEE Directive and the Battery Regulation, alongside tailor-made waste management solutions for companies and waste holders worldwide.
Founded in 2007 by and for the photovoltaic industry, PV CYCLE has established national representations across the globe, including in Germany, Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom, and Japan.
Over the years, the European PV CYCLE organisation has developed extensive expertise in the collection and recycling of solar panels. Through the use of advanced recycling technologies, it helps ensure sustainable, high-quality, and safe recycling services for its members. The organisation is also actively involved in national and international research projects, contributing to technological innovation and investment in the recycling sector.
