We would like to inform Solar Heat Europe members and other stakeholders from our sector, in particular manufacturers and distributors, about recent changes in the European Product Registry for Energy Labelling (EPREL) that are crucial for all manufacturers, including those dealing with Lot 1 and Lot 2 products and packages (Space and Water Heaters).
Starting from October 22, 2024, all suppliers must complete a digital identity verification process to register their product data in EPREL. This step ensures the authenticity and reliability of the information provided. Suppliers must verify their identity and country of establishment electronically. Only verified suppliers can register new product models, modify existing registrations, or perform any actions on their registered models. Unverified suppliers will no longer be able to register products, and any products placed on the market by unverified suppliers after this date will not appear in general searches in the EPREL database.
Please check your EPREL accounts to ensure your account details and product information are up-to-date and comply with the new verification requirements. Specifically, review the information for Lot 1 and Lot 2 products to ensure compliance with the latest regulations.
