100 measures for 100 days: ENZA’s recommendations for the new Commissioners

As the new European Commission took office in the beginning of December, the first 100 days represent a critical window to set a transformative course for accelerating the transition to a net-zero future.

On this occasion, the European Net Zero Alliance (ENZA), of which Solar Heat Europe is a proud member, launched its 100 measures for 100 days – a roadmap presenting a variety of solutions that different industries offer to contribute to the energy transition, and actionable recommendations to provide EU leaders with strategies to strengthen Europe’s competitiveness, resilience and sustainability.

The measures outlined in this roadmap have the potential to inform and shape key policy initiatives aimed at addressing these critical objectives. The potential of solar thermal as a sustainable, homegrown and resilient technology for the energy transition is highlighted throughout the report alongside other relevant solutions for a climate-neutral Europe.
