Solar Heat Europe is thrilled to announce that this autumn, two new colleagues joined the association’s Brussels team. In September, Anna Ledro became part of Solar Heat Europe as a Communications and Events Officer, while in October, Esteban Gas completed the current team as a Policy Intern.
Anna Ledro studied Media and Communication Studies in Italy and Sweden and has working experience in political communications, journalism and PR. Before joining Solar Heat Europe, she completed a traineeship in the office of a Green Member of the European Parliament in Brussels, sharpening her knowledge of sustainability and EU politics. In her new role at Solar Heat Europe, Anna is responsible for the planning and implementation of all communication activities aimed at promoting the visibility of the solar thermal industry at the European level.
Esteban Gas recently graduated in European Politics, Policies and Public Affairs from Sciences Po Strasbourg and had a first experience in Brussels in 2022 with the Czech think tank Europeum, where he strengthened his knowledge on decarbonisation and the European Green Deal. During the first half of 2024, he completed an internship at the European committee of the French National Assembly, deepening his expertise of EU decision-making processes. As a Policy Intern for Solar Heat Europe, he supports the policy team particularly on the implementation of EU legislations at national level. Furthermore, he will centralise knowledge for Solar Heat Europe members and participate in relevant advocacy partnerships.
Solar Heat Europe invites its members and partners to extend a warm welcome to its new colleagues Anna and Esteban!
