Saverio Papa joined Solar Heat Europe in June 2022 as Junior Policy Officer and he will be working together with the other colleagues from the Secretariat, as well as the Board of Directors, and our members’ network towards building a stronger position for solar heat in the European energy debate.

Saverio has an academic background in international relations and European studies and studied in Italy and the UK. Prior to joining SHE, Saverio worked on EU climate policies at the Bio-based industries Joint Undertaking and at a Brussels-based regional network, focusing on the bioeconomy and the chemical sector. He has a strong interest in local politics, especially at the city level. He speaks Italian, English, and Spanish.
