For heating systems and water heaters, changes to the labeling will only take place after the year 2020.

The EU Parliament has recently approved the revision of the EU energy bill. The most important innovation for consumers will be the restriction of the scale to the categories from A to G. The plus classes are omitted. The new energy indicators are to be found on the devices from the end of 2019, but they are not yet valid for heating systems and water heaters, as reported by the Federal Association of Solar Energy on June 19 ,

The heating systems, which are labeled with gas, oil, electric heat pumps, biomass and combinations with solar thermal energy, will be labeled labels up to class A +++. A change is not foreseen until after the year 2020.
