Solar Heat Europe will be present at EuroSun 2020 with a roundtable session meant to increase awareness on the importance of the solar thermal sector, and show its relevance in the economic recovery, Europe and the world will face in the context of the COVID19 pandemic.
The European Solar Thermal Industry Pledge brought together more than 150 public and private entities, from over 20 countries, building a common voice meant to help the sector to showcase its potential and bring a positive impact in the world. The initiative, lead by Solar Heat Europe, is a call for action to the industry and policymakers to support and help the sector to maximize this impact.
The roundtable session will approach the different measures the solar thermal sector needs in order to grow and use its capacity for decarbonisation, measures which could be applied not only in Europe but all over the world.
Pedro Dias, Secretary General of Solar Heat Europe will open the event and moderate the open discussion with the participants, being accompanied by Daniel Mugnier, IEA SHC Chair, and Irene di Padua, Policy Officer at Solar Heat Europe.
