The European Technology & Innovation Platform on Renewable Heating and Cooling (RHC ETIP) organises the event 100% RHC for a Sustainable Future, which will take place in Helsinki on October 28th. The conference will bring together RHC experts from the platform and external stakeholders to learn about projects on renewable solutions for the heating and cooling sector with a specific focus on 4 main dimensions: cities, districts, buildings and industries.
The event will be the opportunity to learn about innovative projects and get in contact with RHC experts, industry representatives, researchers and policy makers to discuss challenges and opportunities of achieving a 100% sustainable future. During the day the RHC ETIP will also present its 2050 Vision, which will be followed by a panel discussion on the role of RHC in the future energy scenario and a round table with national representatives about the challenges in EU energy policy for the RHC sector.
The event will be concluded by an evening reception at the Helsinki City Hall, co-organised with the Nordic Energy Forum and the World Energy Counci. During the cocktail, the Mayor of the city will announce a 1 million euros prize for the best project to decarbonise Helsinki’s H&C network.
