5th International Solar District Heating Conference – the place to be on 11 and 12 April

With more than 200 participants from 23 countries already registered, the 5th edition of the Solar District Heating Conference, on 11 and 12 April 2018 in Graz, Austria promises to be an event not to miss. Register now for this key event in the world of solar and renewable district heating at www.solar-district-heating.eu

The programme of this 2018 edition is based on more than 80 contributions and covers a broad range of aspects around SDH (find the detailed programme here). Several sessions will be dedicated to market development and policy and several countries and regions will present their activities and share their vision and experience. On the other hand, technical sessions will present a wide range of solar district heating plants in different stages of development: new plants and system concepts but also feedback on operation experience and monitoring results.

In the opening session, M. Werner Lutsch, president of Euroheat&Power will present the view of the European district heating sector on large-scale solar thermal. Moreover a panel debate with representatives of all stakeholder groups will discuss the question of how to reach the renewable objectives for the future development of district heating.

Throughout the event, the exhibition areas will give the opportunity to find professionals of the sector with a lot of experience in the realisation of solar district heating plants and to discover their products and services.

Last but not least, participants will have the opportunity to visit existing solar district heating plants in and around Graz: a new 2000 m² plant from Energie Graz with a multifunction heat storage, Austria’s largest SDH plant (see picture) or a 100% renewable energy village combining solar thermal and biomass in Eibiswald.

Graz is the place to be on 11 and 12 April 2018. Don’t miss this opportunity to meet policy makers, plant operators, market actors and researchers in the field from all over Europe.
