The heating energy label came into effect a year ago to support the consumer in identifying the most efficient heaters and heating systems on the market. This label, with the energy label of mandatory presence in several home appliances, is very relevant because of the importance of heating solutions in the energy performance of the dwellings. It is a fundamental piece of communication in support of the decision to acquire more efficient solutions, with lower energy consumption, less environmental impact and lower costs in the energy invoice. “The energy label is a great tool and easy to understand that allows consumers to make more conscious decisions regarding their new heating system” Says Robin Welling, President of ESTIF – European Federation of Solar Thermal Industry.

In force since September 26, 2015, it serves to classify the energy performance of all new ambient heating and / or hot water preparation solutions throughout the European Union and is the responsibility of the manufacturer, distributor or installer, depending on the type of system (prefabricated or customized).
