In order to inform and assist end-users in choosing more efficient and renewable energy-based heating and / or cooling systems, the European project FROnT – Fair Renewable Heating and Cooling Options and Trade launched, among the various results, A set of tools online. Also available in Portuguese, the objective is to help understand the competitiveness of solutions such as biomass, solar thermal and heat pumps against fossil fuel technologies and to identify which one is best suited to the needs of each.

Through a user-friendly interface , it is possible to calculate, on the basis of a comparison of level costs, the costs of renewable heating and cooling systems, estimate return period and environmental benefits. This instrument is accompanied by a Guide for its use and a set of Frequently Asked Questions .
